Essene Church School Historic Roots
Essene Church School Historic Roots
The Essenes are a mystical branch of Historic pre-Christian Era Judaism. The Essenes were focused on living the Laws that God gave humanity through the Torah. It is not to be confused with Modern Kaballah or Qabalah.

Yahusha
It is believed that Yahusha Bar Joseph of Nazareth (aka Jesus) was raised both in the Essene Wisdom of the Ancient Rabbinical Mysteries, as well as in the Pharisaic Synagogue of his village, in which he underwent his Bar-Mitzvah. He deeply believed in, as well as practiced the ancient Essene traditions. He was the first Jew that declared that God’s Law was for, and should be taught, to everyone who seeks it. During his so-called ‘missing years’ of his late teens and twenties, it is believed that Yahusha traveled and studied the Vedas, Buddhist texts, Gnostics and other spiritual traditions available to him across Africa, Asia and Europe. When he reached the age of 30, he returned home to his people to share with them what he had learned. One of the most commonly mistranslated and misinterpreted phrases of the New Testament is John 14:6. Here Yahusha is recorded as saying,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
This verse that is often quoted to defend an idea that all who do not accept Jesus as their personal savior will burn forever in hell! this could not be farther from the truth. When Yahusha spoke at the Sermon on the Mount, what we believe he expressed was more aligned with the rest of his teachings: become one with the God energy of the universe by accepting the faith of Psalm 46:10 “Be Still and Know that I AM God.” Yahusha most likely spoke in Aramaic to his disciples. Then remembrances of his words were written down years later in Greek. And then… they have been translated into English. Thus the mis-translation occurred on 2 levels: not fully understanding the concept of “I AM” and also a desire to manipulate and hold exclusivity power over anyone willing to buy into that belief.
What Yahusha taught was
“I AM (God) is the way to the truth and the light. Know one comes to know the Father (God) but through I AM (God).”
Just as he spoke in parables, this was a cyclical mystical saying to let people know that you could not get to God except by KNOWING his very essence intimately. That kind of intimate knowing is also known as “Christ Consciousness.” Yahusha also explained very clearly, “Everything I do now, you too can do, and more…” by studying, understanding and living the Laws of God. The Essenes offer a spiritual path to that Christ Consciousness for people of all races and colors who are interested in the Historical Yahusha and the concepts he taught that changed the world… He taught us not to worship “Jesus”, but to follow the Christ Consciousness.
