Welcome to the Essene School

I have a vast collection of information gathered about the Essenes from the past ten+ years. I will be updating this site and building the collection of information.

No spiritual information should be held hostage by any group, person or sect.

The Essene School is a continuation of the ministry of the Modern Essene Church from the lineage of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. This group endeavors to learn about the traditions and teachings of the historic Essenes, while respecting and studying the teachings of all religions to bring us together in peace. Open to all faiths and all paths. We are founded on Fundamental Spiritual Foundations that can be applied in ALL FAITHS:

1) Taking Care of the Body Temple - Nutrition: Vegetarian and Organic
2) Building Prana (Life Force): Yoga, Qi Gong, Reiki, etc.
3) Service and Charity: Social Action
4) Spiritual Guidance and Inspiration: Daily Readings and Study
5) Silence: Meditation & Prayer
6) The Receiving of Grace

We recommend you gather every Friday at sundown for a moment of reflection and rejuvenation... alone or together to create sacred space. A brief Friday Shabbat Service in the Essene tradition may include reading, discussion, lighting a candle, meditation and/or sharing of food and camaraderie.
